Elevate Your Coaching Practice with German New Medicine

Next Level Coaching

I use this book, Messages from the Body, by Michael Lincoln all the time in my coaching sessions. You might remember my reference to this book in the Relationships and Energy Zoom class, but I refrained from saying a lot about this resource until now. I use this book in tandem with the 5 foundational principles in German New Medicine so I can be even more effective for my clients.

I'll give you an example of how I used this book in one of my healing/coaching sessions just the other day. One of my clients named Liz booked a session with me after her meniscus surgery on her right knee. She had surgery after waking up one morning with severe pain in her knee. She hadn't done anything unusual or physically strenuous leading up to the pain.

Session Notes

Liz's reason for booking the session was to get first level field repair after her meniscus surgery, but what ended up happening during the session was much different than typical post-surgery field repair. I was guided to work on the emotional/mental reasons for the knee pain, once I connected to her energy.

Liz had been in a very stressful situation with her career and the stress was manifesting in her knee. Louise Hay talks about knee issues representing fears around standing on your own, standing in your truth, having what it takes to "stand on your own two feet" and move forward in life.

This was so appropriate and relevant to her situation. Her job was on shaky ground because she failed a certification exam that would ensure job security in her stressful work environment. Her mother was considering moving across country and Liz's fears were arising related to her mom leaving. Liz is 27 years old and currently lives with her mother. She wasn't feeling like she had what it takes to succeed on her own, feeling very dependent and tethered to her mother.

Her current life situations were SPOT ON for both Louise L. Hay's body/mind references and Micheal Lincoln's deeper explanation on specific right knee issues. After further intuitive exploration, there was a sense of being bound or tethered to her mother in an unhealthy way emanating from the right knee. I told her what I was picking up from my medical intuitive check-in and she confirmed this emotional state.

At this point in the session, I used my pendulum and dowsed on specific family related karmic knots, soul contracts and tangles. We released unhealthy family karma held in the structured levels of the energy field. Liz has Jewish and Arabic lineage and we continually work on family trauma held in her body from both sides of the family, which is necessary for all lineages.

After doing preliminary clearing with the pendulum, I was able to connect with the first level of the field and do 1st level repair. Even though she is currently experiencing numbness in the right shin area, my check-in confirmed that the nerves are reconnecting and reparing nicely. I asked the entire knee area what I could do to support the healing process and salt therapy was the answer that came back from her leg and knee area. Liz was unfamiliar with halotherapy (salt treatments) so I sent her some resources and links to salt treatment clinics in her area.

After doing the chelation protocol on the lower extremities and working my way to the abdominal area, Liz's stomach seemed to be having a hard time taking all of the current pain medications. I asked her about this and she confirmed. We worked on the 2nd and 3rd chakra areas and connected to the vital organs to clear out and support the digestive tract. I asked her body if it will accept the medicine just for a temporary amount of time and her body said YES.

What's Next?

We had a great session, but what's next after one helpful session? I want to show you how incorporating a specific set of information helps you teach clients how to identify patterns of conflict and support resolution in the body. If you haven't heard about German New Medicine, it may change your healing practice and your life. GNM concepts give us an entire new way of looking at what is going on in our bodies and our client's bodies.

The best thing about German New Medicine is that it's NOT a healing technique-it's a new awareness and understanding of how the body works. It's not another certification, it's so far beyond being a modality! You can teach your clients how to be a detective and advocate of their bodies. I took my first class on German New Medicine in 2010 and I have yet to see much information or awareness here in the United States, but hopefully that is changing!

You have had an aresenal of healing techniques thrown at you during this course. Some may have stuck with you, some you may never use. What I am putting before you now is quite different-it's an awareness, an approach to understanding how the body works that you can teach your clients. This is truly a next level approach to dis-ease. I love the work of Louise Hay and Micheal Lincoln, but GNM takes us further as coaches and healers so we can help people even more effectively.

Here's the very best place to start to learn about German New Medicine-an introductory podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/what-is-german-new-medicine-a-brief-intro-to-get-you-started/id1500811889?i=1000466898149

After you have listened to the introductory podcast, I have two articles for you that will help you decide how much more detective work you want to do on your own cycles, seasons and emotional triggers. After you read the two articles, I have included a free ebook for practitioners who work with GNM.
